Michele Bean
Michele Bean, Director, PPP Contract Management is a Certified PPP Professional and Certified Management Consultant with over 20 years’ of experience in project management and consulting in both the local and international business sectors. Her diverse experience spans the energy, financial services and manufacturing industries, as well as the public sector.
Prior to joining the Bermuda Airport Authority, Ms. Bean served as Fuels Marketing Specialist for Sol Petroleum Bermuda Ltd., formerly Esso Bermuda for 13 years. During her tenure, she was responsible for the provision of analytical and planning support to the local operations, Country Manager, Regional Finance Hub and Regional Support Centres. From 2002-2004, she managed the Bermuda Office of Flextronics Global Procurement Ltd., as Chief Operating Officer, having advanced from Senior Commodity Analyst. Her career also includes serving as Assistant Vice President Information Systems (Business Analysis) at the Argus Group of Companies, Banking Administrator at the Bank of Bermuda Ltd, and Management Services Officer and Special Projects Officer (Registry General) within the Bermuda Government.
Ms. Bean has a Master of Science, Business Administration & Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours from Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada.
